About Plastic Ocean:
“The Brothers embark on a sailing adventure to the middle of the Pacific Ocean to the remote “Great Pacific Garbage Patch”, a massive collection of plastic waste congregated together by swirling ocean currents known as gyres. What does the patch look like? How does it affect wildlife and the seafood we eat? Where in the world did this inconceivably massive amount of plastic come from and from what human activities, and more importantly, what can be done about it? The Water Brothers bring us some answers to this strange and disturbing phenomenon..”
About the Water Brothers:
“Brothers Alex and Tyler Mifflin are united on their quest to explore the most precious natural resource on earth: water. With environmentalist Alex doing the research and film school graduate Tyler directing the production, the two set out on a journey that brings them all over the world to some of the most interesting water sources the planet has to offer, where they investigate the problems people are facing with regard to water and how they can be solved by speaking with local people and experts.”
